We leave from Grand Rapids airport at 1:42 pm flight DL867 (and then Detroit at 4:10 pm, flight DL181) on Saturday April 14 and arrive in Shanghai on Sunday, April 15 - We will be 12 hours ahead of Michigan time. Below is the basic itinerary with a few of the places we will visit with many more to come.
4/15 Arrive in Shanghai
4/16- 17 Shanghai, Pudong
4/18 NanJing - Get fitted for clothes
4/19-20 SuZhou - Silk Embroidery, silk factory and silk items, Buddhist monastery
4/21-22 NanJIng - Pick up tailored clothes and see many historical sites and a Pottery studio
4/23 1/2 day in Nanjing and go to Xian in the evening
4/24-25 Xian - Teracotta warriors
4/26-27 Beijing - Great Wall, Forbidden City, Tianamon Square, HuTong
4/28 Back to States; leaving from Beijing at 7:15 am flight DL188, arrive in Detroit at 8:40am, leave Detroit at 12:10 pm flight DL867 and arrive in Grand Rapids at 1:07 pm
